Scratched graffiti on glass can make a shopfront or commercial property look neglected, even when the rest of the premises is well maintained.
Dr Scratchless helps restore scratched and vandalised glass where polishing is suitable.
For retail and commercial sites, downtime matters. We aim to assess the damage quickly and arrange work with minimal disruption to trading where possible. Send a close-up photo of the graffiti damage and a wider photo of the full panel.
Graffiti scratches can range from fine lines to deep cuts spread across a large viewing area. We assess their position, extent and the condition of the surrounding glass before recommending a restoration approach. Public-facing windows and entry doors often need to look presentable while continuing to serve the business, so the assessment should consider both the likely visual improvement and practical access.
Please include the number of affected panels, your suburb and any trading or access restrictions with your photographs. If the glass already has an anti-graffiti film, mention it: damage to a replaceable film needs to be distinguished from damage to the glass beneath it. Restoration does not make a panel vandal-proof. Where appropriate, protective film can be discussed separately as an option for future incidents.
If the vandalism has left etched patches rather than only scratched lines, see acid etching assessment. You can also ask about protective films and coatings for suitable glass. Any protective option should be selected for the particular panel and intended use, rather than assumed to suit every property.
